Dog walking and photography do not really go together but when i saw this tree i immediatly realised its potential as a photographic subject. The tree is at the top of a rise in the ground which meant the fence was outlined against the sky. A 150mm Sonar lens on a hassleblad isolated the tree with the stark branches of the adjacent trees providing a frame for the main subject. The finished photograph is a lith print which has been toned in gold chloride giving the sky a blue hue.
